I must say I think Satan is running around on overtime the past month or so.. Things have been off with lots of people. Last night Luis and I had a big argument, The first in about 3 years.. My mama always said never go to bed angry. And Luis and I have told other couples the same thing. It does work. And we did stay up till almost 3am this morning talking and discussing and arguing..I'm sad that we fought. but I am glad we talked about things and brought up issues.. I know without a shadow of a doubt that we are both in love with each other and that we have to work at our marriage. But I am glad that we are working at it and not just giving up like lots of couples do. 'What God has yoked together, let no man tear apart". And I believe this with all my heart and soul.. you should let no one and NOTHING come between you and your spouse..

but I know that Satan will not win and he can keep walking cuz this marriage will stand the test of fire..
I ran across a new recipe the other day..
its called.
Mexican Casserole.
ITs AWESOME..doesn't take too long to make. its yummy. and Luis loves it.
Here's the ingredients and the pics..ALl you do is layer the ingredients and warm it up.
The hamburger meat is cooked first..
First you put down tortillas, then 1 can of corn and one can of beans. Meat, Cheese. taco sauce. Then more tortillas, corn, beans, taco sauce and more cheese.

well we ad lotsa plans for this weekend.. but I guess we didn't need to do anything cuz we all got sick at one point.. Throwing up and stuff.. Me and Luis didn't eat anything for 2 days.. and Gavi was throwing up too.. All Charlierose did was sleep..
but. I think everyone is better today.. the kids are eating eggs and toast. and daddy went to work.. but now its raining and I have clothes in the laundry mat.. grrr..lol.. but its cool cuz its making it cooler outside and not so hot. so I can't complain too terribly bad.
School starts soon..I've been trying to get Charlie new clothes when I catch them on sale. she really wore out all her clothes last year and she grew 2 inches..I'm so proud of her..and her hair is growing so pretty. We decided to let her bangs grow out and its Beautiful. And Gavi needs her bangs trimmed again. she hates it in her face..Im so proud of my girls. and I'm so happy the Lord gave me 2 daughters.. I am very content and happy with our life right now.. God has blessed us in unexpected ways..

we don't know why he hung himself AT WORK.. but yeah. its a big riot at work right now..

it was a plant operator..they suspect he got a phone call or email and just tripped out and hung himself..
there will be a BIG safety meeting and counselors tomorrow for everyone. and they sent everyone home..
ok so for those of you that don't know..
I dropped my phone in the bathtub Tuesday night..and it just wouldn't come back to life.. so..we had insurance on it though.. so I was supposed to get my new one last night at the corporal Beaumont store... and they said they didn't have it.. that type of phone has been on back order for the past 2 months..
I told them well " Why don't you ever answer the phone?"...They said they just don't cuz 94 % of the time you need to come into the store anyways..( yes he REALLY said that) I told them that was stupid that I had been calling them for 2 days to make sure they had my dang phone so I wouldn't have to travel all the way over there in the heat and waste gas just for them to tell me they didn't have my phone.. He said he was sorry but they just don't answer the phone.. and whats sad about it is ANOTHER cricket store had given me their number and told me good luck cuz they don't answer the phone for them either... ARGH.. so....this morning I called and got Cricket to mail me a phone AND filed a complaint against the store.. I hope he gets in BIG trouble because that's just totally stupid...
anyways..

i paid an extra 15 bucks to get my phone in 2 days.. but.. i doubt it will even be here till monday.. so.. oh well..
well this past weekend we were at my mom and dad's house in Freeport. Charlie likes taking pics. As I am sure you can tell..lol.. so any of these pics that Charlie is NOT in she took..

Well Charlie and me and Gavi went to the pool this morning. But Gavi was whining a lot. I think she doesn't feel so good. Daddy didn't go to work this morning either. He was in the bathroom all morning and he says his tummy hurts bad. for him to be in bed this long really mean he doesn't feel good. he is rarely in bed past 8 unless we stayed up late talking. Which we do a lot..lol..we like to gossip to each other..lol..don't laugh..lol.
Anyways. so Gracie and her 10000 kids ( ok she only has 5) and Luis' baby sis Iris are coming over in a few to go swimming..yay.. Gavi is napping so I'm trying to keep the house quiet for Daddy..
Charlie is practicing her letters every day.. So far we have just been doing A and Bs and she ca write her own name..

I was showing CharlieRose my brothers James and Jeff and Jason's and Jeremy's facebook.. I was trying to get her to recognize the faces and tell me their names.. well she has uncle Jason down.. but is still trying to work on the other ones. I showed her Aunt Michele's pic and explained that she is the one that made her dress and she was all like " oo oo..thats cool. can I go to her house? "....lol... my daughter is so silly.. so once she decides she likes you.. its to you house she wants to go..
Well I am so glad that we have a pool here at the apartments. Its easy free entertainment for my kids. Gracie and her 5 kids are coming with us this morning..so this should be FUN!!...lol..
gonna go out to eat with some girlfriends after church tonight.. WOOT..hehe..

Well today is the last day of school for my CharlieRose.. We got up at 7:45 and she was dressed and out the door by 8...sniff sniff.. she is getting so much older on me.
We are gonna celebrate her doing such a good job tomorrow by going to the beach.. WOOT..a few friends from church and some neighbors are going as well. so It will be FUN FUN..

my friends keep having pregnancy scares..im actually slowly getting rid of baby "stuff".. and its making me sad..there is nothing in this place smaller then a 2T ( except for a stash of Braydens clothes)..
After Charlie outgrew stuff I got rid of everything so glad that she was outgrowing the baby stuff..
now I miss it.
I miss breastfeeding.. like really bad..its a wonderful bond that you can never imitate. I miss burping and changing and giving baths.. CharlieRose is such a big girl. She doesn't need me.. But it makes my day when Gavi wakes up and I pick her up out of the crib and she gives me the biggest hug ever.. She is still babyISH.. but she can walk and feed herself..
I hate the stretch marks. I hated the pain.. I hated the 9 long months you have to wait for the dang thing to come out..I miss having a baby...
I want another baby..
but. I am also glad that I can't have anymore.
maybe someone will let me adopt theirs...

Hello everyone.
It seems as though the time between blogs gets longer n longer.. forgive me..lol.
This past weekend was oh so busy.. I am glad it's over but today seems like Monday..grrr..
Friday night Luis n me stayed up late watching t.v. Then Saturday morning we hung out with friends. Saturday night was one of my girlfriends birthday celebration so we all went out to eat for that. Sunday was of course church..and Monday night me and another girlfriend went to the movies..So today I was busy cleaning and doing laundry and catching up on stuff..CharlieRose has a program at school on Thursday Then its Early Release day on Friday..Then SUMMER.. I'm excited to have my lil girl home all day now. But I am worried she won't be happy..(its not like I can send her away to a relatives house for weeks at a time like some parents do..) She loves school. She loves her teacher. She doesn't like the weekend cuz she can't go to school. I mean this girl keeps her room spotless every day cuz she can't go to school unless its clean..I guess we will just have to walk to the library every few days and have school at the kitchen table..
Her teachers and speech therapist say she has improved quite a lot since October and are very proud of her.. everyone loves my kid..its awesome..lol
Gavi is being a brat. she knows what the potty chair is and how to use it.. but she's not wanting to.. she sits down for a second then gets up and claps and says YAY.. then wets herself a few minutes later..So.. We have given it a break for a month or 2. and Then we will try again..
Granma Ana is supposed to come stay with us for a while in a week or 2. I can honestly say I love my mother in law. She is the bestest.. Yes we will have to give up our privacy and a few other selfish things.. but its ok.. We miss her and my girls miss her too.....
Well I had better go clean up the kitchen from supper..

A lady from church gave Charlie some of her daughters outgrown clothes. they are SO pretty, modest, and adorable.. Charlie says this one is her favorite. So I let her wear it to school today.

we went to the beach last Saturday. Luis put sunscreen on my legs and missed the back of one leg..you can see his 2 hand prints..lol..Luis got really burnt on one arm.. my poor baby..he got water bubbles..but today he said it feels better..
We are trying to save to buy a house. We think that we will move back to Brazoria county.. So however long it takes for that to happen is how long you all have to wait for us..lol..
well I have a meeting at Charlie's school tomorrow.. so pray that everything will be ok with her.. and maybe she doean't have to be in special ed classes anymore..

Last week, I took my children to a restaurant.
My six-year-old son asked if he could say grace.
As we bowed our heads he said, 'God is good, God is great. Thank you for the food , and I would even thank you more if Mom gets us ice cream for dessert. And Liberty and justice for all! Amen!'
Along with the laughter from the other customers nearby, I heard a woman remark, 'That's what's wrong with this count ry. Kids today don't even know how to pray. Asking God for ice cream! Why, I never!'
Hearing this, my son burst into tears and asked me, 'Did I do it wrong? Is God mad at me?'
As I held him and assured him that he had done a terrific job, and God was certainly not mad at him, an elderly gentleman approached the table. He winke d at my son and said, 'I happen to know that God thought that was a great prayer.'
'Really?' my son asked.
'Cross my heart,' the man replied.
Then, in a theatrical whisper, he added (indicating the woman whose remark had started this whole thing), 'Too bad she never asks God for ice cream. A little ice cream is good for the soul sometimes.'
Naturally, I bought my kids ice cream at the end of the meal. My son stared at his for a moment, and then did something I will remember the rest of my life.
He picked up his sundae and, without a word, walked over and placed it in front of the woman. With a big smile he told her, 'Here, this is for you. Ice cream is good for the soul sometimes; and my soul is good already.'

but this happened yesterday and it was SOO funny I had to share..
ok we were leaving Walmart.. Me and Luis were talking smack back and forth to each other ( jokingly of course).. and I couldn't think of nothing else to say so I told him " No one loves you".. Well Charlie said" yeah huh.. I do".. I told Charlie she doesn't count.. she said " yeah huh. 1 2 3 4 5...."...

so I thought I would comment on the topic as well..
I do understand SOMETIMES when you can't seem to keep your house clean.. Like with a new baby and if you are exclusively breastfeeding.. but my kids are 4 and 19 months.. and my house is almost always spotless..Sometimes I let stuff go for a day or even on the weekends so that I will actually have something to clean.. I think it all has to do with training your children right and following a sctrict routine. Now I do understand when they can't even walk yet.. but you can start with working on a routine after a few months old. I trained my girls to sleep on their own in their own room. some mothers I know still let their 4 yr old sleep with them and make hubby sleep on the couch. they say when their kids feel ready to move into their own bed they will do it on their own. This is wrong in my opinion. But whatever. My girls clean their room twice a day. And I set the timer. They know that room had better be clean before it goes off or they get a spanking. They help put the laundry away. They clean their bathroom. They clean off the table. they unload the dishwasher. They help clean the car. They do all sorts of stuff to help me around the house. they know that toys stay in the room no matter what. I threw a few toys in the trash when they left the bedroom and they never did it again. They even keep the toys in the room at other peoples house unless told other wise..So.. I KNOW that it is very possible to keep your house clean even if you have very young kids..I know because I do. They also know that Jesus wants us to stay clean and that goes a long way in their lil bitty heads..It also helps if you do the same thing every day. If you get up, eat breakfast, get dressed etc. all the same time or same way every day, Then kids know what to do and know what to expect. Now there are always exceptions to the rule.. Like when i am super busy babysitting other peoples kids or I am sick or one of the kids are sick, things tend to get out of routine. But it does work..Also the kids have a Chore Chart. and they get stickers every time they do the selected Chore. Every week if there are enough stars they get a small inexpensive gift. But every month we get rid of toys that we don't need and give them to the Missions Attic. they pick out the toys they want to give away..
As far as supper goes.. My girls know when its time for mommy to cook they can go play in their room until I am done. Then they set the table and when Daddy walks in the door everything is ready.. I've never had an issue with this..
I can do it..so I know it is possible for other moms to do it as well..
and i don't have babysitters and i don't have help..
so..
yeah..
