ok so I joined this website called BigBaptist.. they say its like myspace but for Christians etc..
well I found there is only 1 church in texas that is registered on it. and I was looked at their statement of faith. yes they are KJV only and independent etc.. but what caught my eye was this....
""Church members are to refrain from gossip and backbiting. For example, husbands and wives should not complain to others about their spouses. This stirs up a root of bitterness. Godly Christians will immediately refrain from hearing and encouraging such backbiting (Proverbs 25:23).""
All I could think was was WOW I wish more people would do this.
When me and Luis "fight/argue" no one knows about it.. or at least they don't know what its about. It's no ones business but ours..lately from all my "friends" I've been hearing nothing but complaints about their relationships and husbands.. Well.. if you did things the way the Bible says then you wouldn't have all this issues..If you treated your spouse how you want to be treated then you wouldn't have all these problems. I really am tired of hearing women talk nothing but smack.. If you don't like the way things are then change it.. The last time someone started complaining about the spouse to me I told her " Well I don't know what to tell you but your problems make me appreciate my husband all the more".. she replied " I don't know how to take that"... I said." well hearing about how bad your man is makes me love my man more.. we don't fight like y'all do and I know without a shadow of a doubt that he loves me".....she hasn't talked much to me since. but I don't care. I'm tired of hearing it..and I shouldn't have to because according to God's word you shouldn't do it.. period.. so.. yeah.. just thought I would vent a lil bit..

I am baptist and KJV only...I think that some churches want people to keep their problems to themselves to give the illusion to the public that their church is perfect. ;o} I think that you should share things with other believers...that's what they/we are here for. Anyway...people like that make me angry ;o} It sounds like more of a 'let's tear down other believers to lift ourselves up' website. ;o}
