tips on weight loss

I know a few ppl trying to lose weight and I was wondering what everyone does as a "diet"..so I figured I would post my own tips..
Ok so I haven't really been trying to lose weight. Just like staying healthy and watching my calories, but not counting them. After about a week of counting you get used to how much u should eat and all that. the scale says I keep losing,, sllllloowwwwwlly.. so that's a good thing. it says 145 right now. the scale at my mom in laws house and my own scale.. so maybe, just maybe it is right..lol. but I am not going to the doc and checking for fear its like 10 lbs off..heehee.. I know I can fit into a size 10 everything right now. 12s are still too baggy and loose depending on what it is..so I am really hoping the scale isn't lying to me..I have also not been weighing except for once a week..that way my head doesn't mess things up for me.
Eating fresh fruits and veges is a big plus. Google Negative Calories and that will tell you what veges are awesome.
I have been cutting my bread intake in half. I have learned that bread is such a sin. but sooo yummy and LOADED with calories.. did you know that a regular sandwich ( ham, cheese, mayo and 2 slices of bread) is just as bad as a bowl of ice cream..??!!!! yes I still eat a sandwich or hamburger. just eat one piece of bread with it. sometimes I skip the cheese.. I eat about every 2 hours. I drink a slim fast for breakfast. then fruit for a snack. then either water or a slim fast and a sandwich or Lean pocket for lunch. more fruit. then supper. I use a smaller plate that way I think I'm eating a lot, but I'm not. on Sundays I eat whatever I want, that way I reward myself for doing good. Also if we go out to eat I'm just careful. Or I eat less during the day that way I can splurge at night. I never eat after 6.. at least I try my bestest not too, if I get hungry I drink a whole bottle of water or brush my teeth.. then I won't eat cuz my teeth are clean..lol.
I like the French Vanilla or Chocolate Slim Fast powder. be sure to buy the powder. I think its like 8 bucks but its cheaper then the liquid and lasts a lot longer..
Green Tea is awesome to drink. It also comes in a gum. that gum has saved me many a times from eating Twinkies.
I don't believe in everyone being a size 4.. yes some of us are lucky and can get away with that.. but not everyone is. its called growing up, getting married, having kids. ( hopefully in that order.).Every kid you have does something to your body. and i you don't fully recover from that b4 you get preggo again its even harder to get back in shape. my doctors always told me it take about 2 years to fully get back into shape, your insides and out. unless your like Jennifer Lopez or some rich celebrity that can pop out twins and you can't even tell..but they don't count, with all their personal trainers and all...( sorry,, rampage and all)..I also believe that eating healthy and living healthy starts deep down, early on. even as a kid. how many of us just give our kids a bag of ships to shut them up? or koolaid instead of milk or water.? not saying those are bad things to eat or drink, but that starts as a habit, lifestyle. when they get older they will comfort themselves with Twinkies over carrots n ranch..They will drink a soda over water...that's when we start to gain weight and don't even know it. I think being in shape and eating healthy is also a "Godly" attribute. Look at it this way. how can you walk down the street, up and down stairs passing out tracks and witnessing to people if you can't breath at the end of 5 minutes.?? Remember the holy Ghost lives in us..People are supposed to associate us with the Lord. We Represent HIM..If we don't take care of our kids they way we are supposed to we will end up just giving them junk. Now that is not the right thing to do is it?
I try to walk versus driving 3 blocks. there is a track right next to my apartment. there is also a park and Library and Grocery store. So I have plenty of opportunity to walk. I detest working out but I can walk with my kids. I do crunches instead of sit ups or push ups. I hate sweat or pain. so I compensate elsewhere..lol..I am active with my children. we play ball or jump rope. Or just run around crazy..

I also have a problem with being around "skinnier girls" then me. like the size 4 girls. I tend to have negative thoughts about them.. such as " i bet they never eat, I bet they never had kids, ( then come to find out they have 5 kids..grrr..)..or I'm sure they do tons of drugs to stay so tiny".. now yes.. some women do..but some don't. and it is unkind and selfish of me to even think those things about another person..
Remember.. no one said we have to look perfect.. WE should strive for being healthy..And as long as my husband is proud and happy of how I look. I should be happy...

hmmmm not sure where I was going with all this but yeah. Sorry if I stepped on any toes. that was not the intention. no I am not a doctor. these were my opinions plain and simple..
