They Call me "Mommy"

I found some summerISH clothes at Walmart yesterday for 1-3 bucks..woot.. ok so I know its getting winterISH.. but still..next year they will be like 10 bucks or more.. so blah..Also it's great to have nieces in the family cuz they can give their hand-me-downs to CharlieRose. she gets "new" clothes every few months or so..yay for her..lol and the baby is so chunky it will not be long at all b4 she can wear Charlie's hand-her-downs..lol..Let me say right here that I have no problem with "not brand new" clothes. I know some women that refuse to get anything that's not at JCPenny. they are ridiculous in my opinion. but these are also the same women that lie in however possible way so that they can get food stamps and whatever they can free from the government.. when my hubby gives me shopping money I make it last as long and as far as possible. I go straight to the clearance racks and Missions Attic is a great place to buy kids clothes.
When hubby and I first got married we didn't pay rent (cuz we lived at his mom's apartment complex) so we weren't very frugal or smart with our money. so we got used to spending money that we should have saved. GOD did bless us a lot with an awesome baby shower so that I did not have to buy hardly anything for CharlieRose till she was about a year old. But further along into our marriage we started realizing that we suck with our money..lol..We would live from week to week, barely scraping by.. Now with gas being gay and food prices going up and up its still hard. But we have learned a lot in the past few years. We took money saving classes at church. Luis even is going to school to get a better job so that we don't have to live week to week. We still do kinda.. but we are getting better at it..WE get our check, pay tithe, set aside for rent and bills, buy food, gas, diapers and then we are broke..
But its ok.. We make it. We have everything we need, we don't want for anything at all. Granted we don't have a mansion or even a house..We don't have 2 cars.but even Luis says that he thinks that We were NOT blessed with tons of money because we probably would not spend it wisely. IF you cannot be trusted with a lil then how can you be trusted with a lot? come on...answer the question... YOU CANNOT.. We have been getting smarter about it. We live in an all bills paid apartment. I get rides from people when I need them or hubby carpools to work. I started cleaning with homemade laundry soap and cleaning supplies..ya know.. there are lots of things you can do you just have to be humble and think things through. We also thought that we only had to tithe on what Luis brought home every week,, but after sitting under a few seminars we learned that we should tithe on the entire check, not his take home pay.. well that makes sense,,der dee derr..lol..but it was something we didn't know..

I have no clue where this post was going...but yeah..oh well..I just totally lost my train of thought..HAHA..
well I must get back to babysitting the Bad Bs..Bubba and Benjamin.
