I have a question....
is it ok/decent/nice/ respectful to throw away Watchtowers.. you know the booklets the Jehovah's Witness' leave in Laundry mats..I do it by habit.. but.. is that the proper thing to do.? I understand that WE THINK our religion is the right one the best one and all that.. But. don't they believe the same thing. How would we like it if they went behind us and threw our literature away.. I'd be mad, furious. I'd yell what do you think your doing. But then again.....I wonder..I don't want to be like in the old days where if you didn't claim the Church in charge at the moment you were killed. But isn't that in essence what I do when I get rid of other people's efforts? Don't people have the right to choose to believe what they want to?
I wholeheartedly believe the saying. "treat others as you would have them treat you"..
so..
I wonder what I should do..

I have thought about this question and what would I do. I know Dad has throwed them away when He worked at the apartments.
I believe what I believe because it is in the Word of God. The Bible tells me in Galatians chapter 1 verses 6 through verse 9, Paul through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit tells us:
"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of christ. BUT THOUGH WE, OR AN ANGEL FROM HEAVEN, PREACH ANY OTHER GOSPEL UNTO YOU THAN THAT WHICH WE HAVE PREACHED UNTO YOU, LET HIM BE ACCURSED. AS WE SAID BEFORE, SO SAY I NOW AGAIN, IF ANY MAN PREACH ANY OTHER GOSPEL UNTO YOU THAN THAT YE HAVE RECEIVED, LET HIM BE ACCURSED.

A tract is a way of preaching. So If I understand my Bible right, it tells me if we or an angel from heaven should preach any other gospel other than what Paul preached,(the death, burial and ressurection of Christ),we are to let them be accursed.
No, I would never put anyone to death for believing what ever they choose to believe. If on the other hand they leave tracts around for others to read a false gospel then I feel that I am doing wrong by allowing it to stay where others can read it. What they choose to do with my tracts they will have to answer to God for just as I will for what I do with their tacts. Based on Bibical principal, then I believe that I would throw them away. Mom
